Las Flores Web3 Film Festival and artist Alejandro Glatt invite you to participate in this parallel international open call, an audiovisual celebration of the papaya as a powerful symbol.
“Papayas to the Moon” is an invitation to imagine without limits. We are looking for short films from around the world that explore the symbolic, the surreal, or the sensory through this organic and futuristic icon — with the winning film being sent… literally to the Moon. 🚀




🌕 Theme
Papayas to the Moon
An open-ended theme, free for creative interpretation.
Your short may take on a narrative, experimental, documentary, symbolic, or abstract approach.
The papaya may represent exploration, fertility, identity, technology, nature, the future, or any other imaginative concept.
🎞️ Short Film Requirements

Maximum duration: 7 minutes

Format: Digital file in MP4 or MOV (H.264 or ProRes HQ codec)

Minimum resolution: 1920 × 1080 (HD)

Alejandro Glatt: Artist, Innovator, Visionary
Alejandro Glatt, a Mexican artist, fuses art, technology, and nature to explore the profound connection between humanity and freedom through fruits and emotions. His initiative «Feel the Fruit» highlights how fruits can represent introspection and spirituality. Alejandro’s groundbreaking projects, including sending the first Mexican papaya to the Moon in February 2024 and exhibiting at the Louvre Museum in April 2024, transcend physical and conceptual boundaries, reaffirming his vision of limitless exploration.
